UK Trade October 2011
- The UK’s deficit on seasonally adjusted trade in goods and services was £1.6 billion in October compared with the deficit of £4.3 billion in September.
The deficit on seasonally adjusted trade in goods was £7.6 billion in October, compared with the deficit of £10.2 billion in September.
The surplus on seasonally adjusted trade in services was estimated at £6.0 billion in October, compared with the surplus of £5.9 billion in September.
Excluding oil and erratic items, the seasonally adjusted volume of exports was 9.0 per cent higher, but the volume of imports was 1.5 per cent lower in October, compared with September.
